This position is with Agency Services for MDOC and Assists in the design, development, delivery, and support of Information Technology (IT) solutions to the Client Agency. We are looking for a team-oriented person with a deep understanding of database administration (SQL Server and Sybase) to help support MDOC. This individual must be able to troubleshoot under difficult circumstances, lead highly complex projects, implement new policies and procedures, and maintain a good rapport with agency staff at all levels. The Database Administrator Specialist takes on the role of assisting with database structure and design, implementing, and maintaining the database environment, participating in enterprise efforts as needed, and ensuring compliance with security and integrity needs across the database environment. Database and code design Performance tuning Security Management User Management Monitoring and Troubleshooting Capacity planning Data Migration Scripting (TSQL, PS, and Kshell) Administer, manage, develop, and deploy SSIS and SSRS. Administer COMS databases. Work on code deployments. Maintain comprehensive documentation (Azure Wiki). Analysis Services, Integration Services and Report Development). Extensive experience with SQL Server and T-SQL in constructing Tables, Indexes, constraints (keys) with their integrity, user profiles, relational.
