They have to interview extremely well, and code like a machine. Polished, speaks extremely well to their resume, and "NOT A COPY AND PASTE RESUME" full of technologies, versus not what worked on...need project info, built this, that, ect...... The SDEs will need to possess the following: - Java / Spring Boot - Cloud Native - either IaaS or PaaS - Microservices & their Design Patterns Java Engineer - 1.8 or newer Spring Boot - microservices 12 Factor App Netflix OSS Cloud/DevOps (PCF, AWS, GCP) Domain knowledge in digital payments, crypto, etc. - Big Systems large throughput/high transactions/large volume AND low latency.
