Position - Business System Analyst Location- Remote Durattion- 12+ Months Job Description: The Business Systems Analyst will be working with telecom carriers serving their largest Government/Enterprise customers. The primary role will be to define future state business processes & functional specifications. They will document automation requirements in conjunction with product management so that software development teams can implement the automation solution. Responsibilities: Attend technical design meetings with customers to elicit requirements, contribute to design. Understand customer pain points, use cases, user stories & functional specifications to dev teams. Construct business process workflow charts and system/data flow diagrams. Contribute to solution design including an ecommerce + license management user experience design and system integrations using REST based APIs. Provide deliverable work breakdown structure with effort estimates to project manager. Provide summary weekly status reports to internal and customer stakeholders. Review QA test plans for full requirement traceability. Develop test case scenarios with the QA function to meet both domain / end-to-end testing cycles Participate in customer functional testing cycles. Minimum Qualifications: BA and/or BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 5 years experience as a business systems analyst in a product development. Experience with systems integration efforts REST APIs. Review/interpret API Swagger definitions. Experience working closely with UX and translating wireframes and other artifacts into user stories Good working knowledge of JIRA / Confluence Ability to read and write SQL including executing data queries. Experience working in Agile scrum including documenting and grooming technical requirements with clear acceptance criteria for software engineering teams. Preferred Qualifications: MBA or other advanced degree. Background in software development and experience with the software development life cycle.
