| Role- Cloud Security Architect Location- Minneapolis MN (remote) Primary Roles and Responsibilities Able to implement security measures and configuration for cloud services, including laaS, PaaS, and SaaS environment Able to understand secure cloud architecture for various cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP). Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Develop and maintain policies, roles, and access controls to enforce the principle of least privilege and ensure appropriate user access and segregation of duties. Implement MFA and SSO solutions. Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization and security Good working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions Should be able to setup and configure monitoring tools and systems to detect and respond to security incidents. Able to conduct vulnerability assessment to identify security weaknesses in cloud infrastructure, applications, and services. Able to implement data encryption and protection mechanism to secure sensitive data at rest, in transit and in use. Collaborate with stakeholders to establish data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory and compliance requirements. Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures. Should be able to conduct assessments to validate compliance and address any gaps. Stay up to date with latest trends, threats, and best practices in cloud security. Provide guidance and recommendations to development and operations team on secure cloud architecture design and deployment strategies. Should be able to Integrate security into entire process by automating security controls, continuous - Good to go Must have Skills Proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer Strong knowledge of Cloud Platforms, preferably Azure and their security features. Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., CSA, HITRUST, NIST) Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies (IDS/IPS, WAF, CSPM, CWPP, CIEM) Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Security Engineer - AZ-500, Azure Administrator AZ-104, Cyber Security Architect-SC-100) is a plus.
