Typical Duties: -Designs, develops, andmaintains database code objects, including coding for SQL stored procedures andviews, in cooperation with applicationdevelopers, and in accordance with database standards and best practices. - Designs, develops, andmaintains database code scripts to validate and/or maintain data external tothe application. -Manages and performs detailedtesting of database objects and scripts; performs code reviews. -Writes and maintainsspecifications and documentation for database objects and scripts. -Contributes to the design ofthe data model for application modifications/enhancements. -Identifies SQL codeperformance issues and optimizes SQL code for performance. Additional Requirements /Preferences: -Satisfactory criminalbackground check required.
