Will accept a Masters degree, or a PhD in one of the associated fields. 8-9years of professional experience utilizing quantitative analysis. Experience with analytical tools like SAS, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Advanced Excel, Power BI. 8+ years of experience applying python (NumPy, SciPy, pandas, etc) programming to solve business challenges Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc) Demonstrated experience working in MS Office and industry standard statistics and data visualization packages Knowledge of basic statistical approaches and/or data management techniques. Project management Experience interacting directly with dealers or external customers. Exhibited the ability to work on increasingly more complex assignments Has demonstrated the ability to effectively communicate concepts using data visualization 2-4 years experience with Caterpillar, working with a different unit or working with different products, processes or systems is desirable. Experience with advanced data analysis and statistical methods such as regression, hypothesis testing, ANOVA, statistical process control, etc. Practical applications of machine learning techniques such as Clustering, Logistic Regression, CART, Random Forests, SVM or Neural Networks.
