Extensive knowledge and practical experience in implementing Agile and Kanban methodologies, including the execution of 2-3 medium to large projects using Agile methodologies. Strong understanding of Engineering processes and developer experience tools (Gitbub, Jira, Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.) Experience with the core AWS services including Compute Solutions, Container Services, Serverless services, Data pipeline, Database services, etc. Strong proficiency in GitOps and demonstrated experience in implementing GitFlow. Sound knowledge and practical expertise in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of writing infrastructure as code (IAC) using Terraform. Experience in Data Lake concepts in AWS, open-source ELT, and ETL tools and frameworks. Excellent programming skills in Java Spring Boot or Python. Experience in developing Restful & GraphQL APIs. Good experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Previous exposure to Engineering Analytics and tools like LinearB, JellyFish, and Cortex is desirable. Understanding productivity efficiency metrices is a plus. Duties and responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of Engineers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to maximize their potential and drive their professional growth. Take ownership of decision-making processes, resolving conflicts and prioritization issues that may arise. Act as the main point of contact for both onsite and offshore team members, providing clear communication and facilitating seamless collaboration. Effectively manage and prioritize project tasks, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards. This person will be the go-to person for difficult development problems, Java/Node or Python and AWS design, code standards, code reviews, etc. Implement a data pipeline to gather business-specific metrics around consumer usage patterns. Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications. Building reusable components, infrastructure scaffoldings, and architecture patterns. Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts. Assures quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported areas.
