The primary need is for the developer to enhance a computer system that tracks truancy referrals from schools called BASIL. The developer will be involved in all aspects of making enhancements to an existing truancy application including analysis, architecture, database structure, UI design, reporting, documentation and implementation. The developer will work with both the customer and our IT area. Required Skills : Demonstrated experience in creating robust applications and reports using Microsoft .NET and SSRS technologies Ability to produce readable and maintainable code and components Communication skills to transition to internal development team. Creating and maintaining desktop and web Microsoft .NET applications Microsoft SQL Server Database Crystal Reports / DevExpress Excellent communication skills to work directly with business users to gather, prioritize and validate requirements Technical documentation Responsibilities : Create, build and implement enhancements to the BASIL application.
