Certification: Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II Certification highly desired. 1) Detailed Job Description Job Summary Were looking for a dynamic individual to join the Digital & Technology team at CBRE, the global leader in real estate services. An ideal candidate is talented, energetic, innovative Technologist who can work on Salesforce development projects from conceptualization to implementation in an Agile environment. He/She should be proactive in analyzing impacts, overall risks, mitigate any design issues early in the project lifecycle, share implementation best practices, and recommend solution alternatives. He/She will also be responsible to conduct design/code reviews and make refactor suggestions as necessary. Responsibilities: Planning, designing, developing, and maintaining multiple complex Salesforce application implementations using multiple object-oriented languages Analyzing software problems, conducting root cause analysis, and resolving problems in line with defined problem management procedures Leading cross-functional, digital, business, and technology projects Supporting and maintaining Salesforce customer application experience with at least a full cycle of implementations and over 500 user licenses Designing and architecting software applications using Agile software development methodologies and object-oriented coding languages Reviewing test plans and test cases to help Quality Assurance teams ensure quality of software deliverables. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field or equivalent work experience. 7+ years of progressive software development experience. Strong knowledge of Agile Software development methodologies, design and architectural patterns. Experience in an object-oriented development language like.NET/ Java is preferred Minimum of 3+ years of technical expertise on Salesforce.com, using Force.com Apex, Lightning for Salesforce, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, Ant and the use of these tools with Salesforce.com. Strong with configuration, customization, programming with Apex, Triggers, Workflows with actions, Approval Processes, Reports & Dashboards Development experience with Restful web services and Integrations strongly desired Familiarity with Salesforce.com best practices, support mechanisms, procedures and limitations are required. Strong Object-Oriented Development Experience and GIT concepts for deployments is preferred Knowledge of Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Marketing Cloud a huge plus Creative problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic Ability to work with minimal direct guidance, self-motivated and proactive Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Some knowledge in the Commercial Real Estate industry is good to have % of time spent on job duty Job duty Specific details on the who, what, and how; the day-to-day tasks performed for the job duty. Please be as specific as possible 40 Planning, designing, developing, and maintaining multiple complex Salesforce application implementations using multiple object-oriented languages Gather business requirements from end users, use agile methodology to create and story point the user stories. Use class diagrams, Entity relationship models, algorithm analysis and data structures to design the solutions. Using cloud-based APEX Object oriented language, visual force pages, aura framework based lightning components to develop code and user interface screens. Develop and deploy bug fixes; finetuning and refactoring the existing code for performance and maintenance of the system Develop code to follow the governor limits of the application. 15 Analyzing software problems, conducting root cause analysis, and resolving problems in line with defined problem management procedures Understanding and debugging the production issues/bugs raised by end users of the application Using tools like API Logs, Developer console and Debug logs to triage issues and recommend corrective/preventive actions. Triaging the software issues for root cause and give preventive and corrective actions. 5 Leading cross-functional, digital, business, and technology projects Working with Product and Delivery teams across Asia, Europe and America regions and building global technology solution that support business objectives. Overseeing professional technology teams, executing projects to be used by cross-functional business teams at CBRE Streamlining cross-functional projects to ensure maximum efficiency while minimizing costs 10 Supporting and maintaining Salesforce customer application experience with at least a full cycle of implementations and over 500 user licenses Engaging with business users spread across the globe to understand the current issues and come up with Enhancement Requests Identify potential areas of automation to improve the mean time to resolve system issues. Understanding the details of each managed system and educating end users on best practices. 20 Designing and architecting software applications using Agile software development methodologies and object-oriented coding languages Working with Scrum master and business teams to create user-stories that can fit int a sprint Involve in story estimates, add technical details and acceptance criteria Using APEX and Java script object-oriented language to build user interface and underlying business logic Prepare proof of concepts to implement business requirements and propose solutioning with technical feasibility analysis. 10 Reviewing test plans and test cases to help Quality Assurance teams ensure quality of software deliverables. Using agile methodologies, as part of sprint planning divide requirements into user stories and help Quality team in preparing the test cases and reviewing the test plan to cover all scenarios. Prepare Quality assurance sandboxes to execute test scenarios. Activities include refreshing the sandboxes, deploying the code to the testing sandboxes and prepare test data for test script execution. Making sure automation test coverage for newer functionalities are implemented as part of test regression suite.
