Planning, designing, and developing new websites, including creating prototypes and final designs for approval by clients. Analyzing existing websites for usability, performance issues, and SEO potential Communicating with clients to gather information about their business needs and goals. Researching emerging technologies and infrastructure to ensure that a website is compatible with current standards. Creating a site map for each new project, including site structure, navigation, and content hierarchy Providing technical support to clients regarding their website Conducting usability tests to determine how easy a site is to use for different types of visitors. Managing the development process by working with programmers, designers, and other team members Comfortable presenting his/her ideas and solutions to other architects and product teams.
