| Title: Power BI Data Visualization expert Location: Remote Chicago, IL Duration: 6+ Months Contract Visa: USC Required Skills 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and data analytics, 8+ years working with Power BI & experience in a client-facing analytics role Proficient in development of data visualizations and implementing high-value solutions Proficient in the use of Data Analytics Expressions (DAX) and Power Query Experience with one or more data technologies (e.g. Azure Data Warehouse, SQL Server, etc.) and a willingness to learn how to leverage these technologies to improve business intelligence Expert knowledge of data management, business intelligence and analytics concepts Proficient with features of the Power BI Service and Power BI Premium including establishing gateway refresh schedules and row level security and integrating them with Power BI solutions Expert in data manipulation and cleansing for creating datasets and data flows for self-service reporting Capable of maintaining, updating, and performance tuning existing BI reports Possessing the ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Experience working with agile development methodology Having excellent communication and interpersonal skills Responsibilities Design and build PowerBI based reporting solutions Expert-level experience in Azure SQL, Power BI, DAX Implement row level security and integrate with Power BI solutions Perform data manipulation and cleansing for creating datasets and data flows for self-service reporting Perform performance tuning existing BI reports Deploy BI reports in test environments Expected Deliverable(s) Power BI Dashboards, Power BI Reports, Power BI Views, Data Set creation, DAX queries Implementation of a new Child Welfare IT system with functionality such as intake, investigations, case management for abused and neglected children and youth.
