We are looking for a Scala developer with a very strong knowledge of functional programming concepts. 8+ of relevant work experience, including extensive programming experience. Senior Scala developer with Strong functional programming concepts Good Understanding on Scala, AKKA and Play framework. 3-4 years of experience in Advanced Java development and MongoDB Experience in working with Core Spark , Spark Streaming, Data Frame API, Data set API, Data Source API & Spark SQL Experience in working with Apache Kafka, developing consumers & producers using Kafka-Python/Scala client Experience in Hadoop development Experience with NOSQL DB such as Mongo or Cassandra Experience developing service oriented architectures and an understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability. Comfortable with software project management systems such as Maven/SBT Experience with high-scale, distributed web service development (hands-on experience with RESTful web services) UNIX/Linux background: facility with command command-line utilities; familiarity with system administration tools and concepts a plus. Familiarity with distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, and network protocols, especially TLS and HTTP. Familiarity with data serialization formats like XML, JSON and protocol buffers Excellent communication skills Ability to own and deliver any given requirement from end to end perspective.
