| From: JUNAID, Smartfolks [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Hi!, Hope you are well, we are looking for Lead Linux Administrator with Cloud, this is Onsite role. please refer the JD below and share suitable profiles soon Role: Lead Linux Administrator with Cloud Location: Princeton, NJ Contract Role : C2C and W2 Day1 onsite Roles and Responsibilities: Own Linux/Unix Product Life Cycle management. End to end satellite as a tool management Create and manage repos/content views on Satellite. Create and manage module, class, manifest in puppet Build Linux OS Image, VMs on VMC through VMware CAS and provide configuration management automation solution through puppet. Work on Patch management, vulnerability management, product upgrades and performance testing on Linux systems. Manage Lifecycle review of infrastructure components and technologies based on input from Lead/Customer. Collaboratively work with team, customer division and business unit application development teams and perform product maintenance activities such as OS image, patch bundle and release testing. Provide infrastructure engineering to support development of Linux products that are used by Applications hosted in the cloud (e.g., VMC/AWS/Azure) Mandatory Skills: Puppet IT Automation 8-10 years of experience on Unix/Linux, cloud and automation. Linux Product Engineering/ Linux Admin with Satellite, Puppet Strong hands on experience on RHEL, CentOS and Ubuntu. hands on experience on Redhat Satellite 6 Hands on experience on Puppet with gerrit, git repo experience in managing Linux systems on AWS, Vmware/VMC. Secondary Skills: Python/shell/Ruby scripting. Optional/Good to Have Skills: Clouds AWS,Azure, VMC/VMware. Devops Jenkins/GITHUB/terraform/Azure devops.
