Job Title: Sr Systems Engineer Location: REMOTE (Travel Once in a month Two sites ( Waterloo, IN and Delta, OH ) Duration: 06+ Month Contract Job Description The Lead Systems Engineer plans, coordinates, architects, and supervises activities related to the development and integration of systems and infrastructure to meet business requirements of the organization. The Lead Systems Engineer will also design, deploy, and migrate systems and services for cloud and physical data center environments. They will identify and select appropriate services and hardware based on requirements and constraints and use deep subject matter expertise to evaluate new technologies for fit in current infrastructure architecture. Along with other duties, they will also need to help prioritize current operational demands, disruptions, and opportunities with the longer-term strategic vision of the organization. They will be the key person to provide technology guidance, road maps, principles, standards, and best practices for the team and for the enterprise. The Lead SystemsEngineer also develops and maintains an infrastructure blueprint for the organization. This is a Hands-on position. Qualifications Migration from HyperV to VMWare Coordinate (work with corp resource) build of the trust between two domains and migrate the objects (we cannot do the build, we just coordinate with our parent company) Configure hardware for compute and storage (Dell computer, Nimble Storage) (two sites) Re IP physical and virtual servers / equipment / DHCP scopes (two sites) There is minimal rack and stack and we have resources for this we can get on site.
