Huge plus if they have any exp around HVAC systems or payment test experience We are seeking a self-motivated, organized software test engineer with technical writing ability. This position will develop and execute test plans for mobile, desktop, web and server-side applications. The Essential Functions of the Position Include, but are not limited to the following: Help drive quality from requirement to release. Perform front end and backend testing on mobile, desktop and web applications. Create clear and concise testing artifacts, including Test Plan, Test Cases, Defect Reports and Test Results. Create and maintains trend data related to software quality over time. Troubleshoot and work customer reported issues. Assist development as needed. Submit detailed reports to the software development team. Maintain a list of known issues for each software release. Use software tools and develops custom scripts for automated testing. The Non-essential Functions of the Position Include, but are not limited to the following: Performs software inspection for verification of quality standards. Generates software complexity reports Experience/Training: B.S. or equivalent experience 3-8 years of software testing experience Background in performance testing, regression testing, automated GUI testing. Experience creating use cases and test scripts. Experience working with Windows and Linux. Experience working with database testing. Strong technical writing skills Experience using automated tools for GUI testing. Experience using automated tools for server load, performance, and latency testing. Experience using TestRail.
