Proficiency in creating Kafka topics, configuring brokers, and managing Zookeeper instances. Strong Python scripting skills for automation and orchestration tasks. Knowledge of scheduler-driven and real-time data ingestion using Kafka connectors. Familiarity with streaming on-premises data to support cloud analytics using Confluent Kafka. Experience setting up and optimizing Confluent Schema Registry within Kafka deployments. Expertise in error handling and message retry/replay strategies. Previous experience deploying Kafka nodes as PODs or Docker containers on AKS or OpenShift. Proficiency in setting up Kafka monitoring dashboards using Grafana and Prometheus.
