Please share the resume at [email protected] Position: Info Management / Data Governance Consultant Location: San Antonio, TX (Initially Remote) Duration: 12 months Description: Looking for a candidate with 10yrs of experience who will be responsible to assist the information/data governance team in the formation and execution of data governance framework, policy, standards. Must have experience in implementing Data Governance using some of the industry frameworks like DAMA, especially stewardship, Data Quality, Metadata, Report certification. Expected to review the data governance and information management standards and policies and be able to do gap analysis. Ability and experience to work on RACIs, compare whats existing, analyse the new policy and standard requirement, analyse what DAMA states and propose updated RACI Must have complete understanding and experience in Data Stewardship roles Must have exposure towards major data management related strategic decisions, should have been part of such strategic implementations Very good on PowerPoint presentations, wiki page documentation, procedures writing etx. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Communication with staff at all levels within the organization (including upper management, and ability to make presentations) Ability to be a leader, develop relationships, provide direction and oversight, make decisions, and educate others. Must have worked in banking organization in the field of data governance Required Education: At least a bachelors degree( or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics engineering, Information Systems or closely related field is required.
