Duration : 12+ months We are looking for a candidate to assist in development of an automated testing platform that test the firmware of our customer present networking equipment. As one of a small number of SDET in the Embedded Software Engineering team, you will be asked to support and give feedback in the design and architecture of our testing platforms and the greater CICD pipeline. You may also be asked to participate in feature architecture discussion so that you can plan test for features prior to delivery. The role will require the engineer to quickly learn new platforms, frameworks, and libraries. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Develops software to automate the validation of configurable network hardware. - Designs testing configurations and communicates requirements for test environments. - Works as part of a team to deliver quality test automation software. - Trouble shoots failures in test helping to understand the root cause analysis. - Participates in code reviews both as a submitter and a reviewer. - Supports the evolution of a CI/CD pipeline for the embedded software. - Effectively manage task lifecycles using Jira while communicating REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Professional experience in a Linux environment. - 1+ years experience developing python. - 5+ years experience developing in any high level programming language like python. - Ability to create a python library or package. - Experience developing test software. - Basic networking skills. - Ability to learn quickly. - Ability to work independently or as a group. - Ability to adhere to agreed standards. - Must have good written and verbal communication skills - Understanding of VDS such as git REGARD Lovely Singh Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment golang green card Colorado |
