Local to VA Key Responsibilities: Understands Discovery scheduling and potential network impacts Experience with net-new implementations of Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping; can relay best practices to clients Understands CMDB relationships and hierarchy, experience in CMDB Health dashboard configuration and with CMDB remediation including duplicate and stale CI items Understanding of the Identification and Reconciliation engine. Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively Good knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB CSDM data model. Expert level proficiency in ITOM /CMDB product line Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow ITOM development and administration. ServiceNow ITOM Developers with hands on experience with service mapping, discovery, & event management. Strong understanding of Service Mapping concepts, including discovery patterns, sensors, and probes. Experience designing and developing ITOM solutions that align with business requirements. Knowledge of ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideRecord, etc.) and ServiceNow integration technologies (REST, SOAP, etc.). Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and/or ServiceNow CMDB. Familiarity with network protocols and topologies. Experience with Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of cloud technologies and their impact on Service Mapping. Preferred Qualifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Service Mapping, Discovery, or Event management.
