REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: DB2 DBA experience on Linux/Unix LUW (NOT mainframe DB2) Shell Scripting Some SQL experience NICE TO HAVE (NOT required): Java or PHP experience ETL and Federation Performance Tuning ABOUT THE TEAM: We manage and maintain the data warehouse. Our data warehouse stores data for multiple areas within the company. We move data from different application sources into the data warehouse for the Data Analysts (in another area) to report to CMS on that data. Monthly, we load claims data for reporting. We work closely with the Data Analysts to ensure we have the correct data needed and that it is loaded accurately and timely for reporting. Use ETL processes to pull in data from Oracle data sources. We also store data for other areas to use and report on. Our team currently has 13 members which consists of 6 DBAs, 3 developers, and 4 security/compliance team members. We are working to organize our logs, email notifications, and processes to streamline our activities. We are looking at new data warehouses in the future.
