Description:

Business Technology (IT) is looking for an experienced Workday Sr. Product Analyst - HCM/Payroll with an extensive join the product group dedicated to supporting the Employee Success (HR) organization here. Our ideal candidate enjoys working in dynamic and high-growth environments and is experienced in managing complex projects in support of an overall HR philosophy and strategy. We are looking for candidates with deep expertise with business analysis and Workday Core HCM/Payroll, document generation and security configuration.

Responsibilities:

Work effectively with Employee Success (HR), Finance/Payroll, Legal and Compliance, Business Partners and Business Technology (IT) teams to understand the business priorities for future enhancements in Workday

Work with Product Manager to communicate business priorities and assist with creating short term & long term roadmaps focused on Hire to Retire, Contingent Workers, Documents and Security

Understand the business process of the customer and play the role of advocate for customer needs

Partner with Regional Teams (AMER, EMEA, APAC, Japan) to gather detailed business requirements for Workday enhancements related to Hire to Retire, Contingent Workers, Documents, Payroll and Security

Guide the business requirements from a request to enhancement in Workday Production. This includes documenting requirements, knowledge transfer to developer, assist with any clarifying questions, schedule demos with business, support with UAT

Configure Workday proofs of concept

Ensure solutions promote simplification, scalability, accuracy and an increasingly higher level of productivity for users.

Manage and share information from Workday Community with the BT and Employee Success teams; This includes logging brainstorms, monitoring release notes and sharing details on webinars.

Provide functional support during technology upgrades/implementations and work successfully as a liaison with Finance, Employee Success, IT, and other partners

Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and execute testing in support of system and user acceptance testing to ensure that new configuration meets end-users needs

Partner with the BT and ES support organizations to provide knowledge transfer, support and technical assistance to end users

Assists with backlog grooming of new enhancement requests

Participate in Agile scrum team as the central subject matter expert

Required Skills

2-3 years configuration experience with Workday HCM, Security or Payroll

Ability to inform detailed requirement and solution design trade-offs

Ability to contribute to cross-functional and cross-technical dependency management

Ability to provide guidance to the product roadmap for other teams/functions

Ability to anticipate and communicate blockers, conflicts, and obstacles

Connect-the-dots between business strategies and product deliverables

Understanding of business process analysis, requirements and design, data modeling, detailed functional design, test planning, and UAT execution

Implementation and support experience with global HR systems from gathering and documenting complex business requirements through testing and production rollout. Workday specific experience preferred

Change management skills including communication, testing, training and business system and process transformation

Self-starter, highly motivated, with ability to shift directions quickly when priorities change, think through problems to come up with innovative solutions and deliver against very tight deadlines

Willingness to receive direction and guidance within a team environment, adopt and develop best practices and circumnavigate obstacles with creative technical solutions

A related technical degree required

Desired Skills/Experience:

Workday implementation and/or support experience with global HCM, Payroll or Finance modules.

Experience with the Salesforce.com platform and related cloud or web based technologies

Experience with AGILE development methodology

Knowledge of web applications and integrations with Workday background in building scalable and innovative solutions for human resources.
