Interpret and provide solutions on complex technologies/architectures. Core Tasks Provide strategic and support representing Design Services and the customers IT Strategy as a Subject Matter Expert as an enterprise network architect. Identify and prioritize critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders. Assist in developing solutions to existing and upcoming technical problems. Assist with supporting infrastructure solutions to existing or upcoming technical needs or problems. Implementation and support of data center network solutions. Analyze, assist with design, document, and migratations. Develop remediation plans for security issues identified by vulnerability assessments or penetration tests. Lead the development of technical artifacts including Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), Detailed Technical Design, Security Architecture Plan, Services Description Document, etc. Monitor, upgrade, troubleshooting and maintenance for the network infrastructure. Identify and prioritize critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders. Consult with vendor product specialists, independent research organizations, on-site support engineers on best-fit technologies to ensure compliance to department policies & standards and technology roadmap. Communicate complex technical concepts to individuals of various technical ability. Consult with vendor product specialists/sales, independent research organizations, on-site support engineers and fellow architects and administrators on best-fit technologies to ensure compliance to department policies & standards and technology roadmap. Coordinate with Enterprise Architecture team for technology validation or suggestions for alternative solutions. If necessary, initiate Solution Assessments, Infrastructure Service. Plan and develop support processes that adhere to best practices (ITIL). Provide support with performance analysis & troubleshooting. Provide direct support to technical and non-technical entities to define requirements and deliver solutions to meet organizational needs including new environment deployment, upgrades, performance tuning, testing and disaster recovery. Document and Knowledge transfer, document architecture, design decisions, and setup instructions for future reference and onboarding of new team members. Provide support and subject matter expertise with respect to adherence to best practice security framework controls and other industry-based regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., NIST 800-37, 800-53, 800-171, 800-204, 800-207, CIS, PCI, IRS-Pub 1075, CJIS, and related). Build and maintain relationships across organizational teams. Provide resolution of conflicts, connectivity, and security issues. Prepare information for presentations. Mentor staff on tips, techniques and best practices to be utilized for the infrastructure environment. Qualifications: Experience Matter level expertise in Data Center networking and operational system fundamentals. Proven knowledge, skills and experience 5 years Experience in provisioning, managing, and coordinating medium to large scale Data Center networks. 5 years Experience with R&S and Layer 2/3 Engineering skills / expertise 5 years Solid Cisco R/S, Nexus & Catalyst skills. 3 5 years Cisco UCS and VMware knowledge and expertise 3 - 5 years Strong experience with SD-WAN & SDN solutions is highly desired 7 years In depth understanding of enterprise datacenter technologies including networking, security, NAS, Cloud Computing and physical datacenter practices 7 years Experience in remediating security issues identified by vulnerability assessments or penetration tests 5 years Ability to design, implement and maintain solutions with adherence to industry compliance such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, ISO and identify policy violations 7 years Experience with IP-based and Fiber networking for SAN/NAS technologies is desired 3 years Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel 3 years Certification(s): Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) Certification Required Thanks & Regards ..
