Position: Program Manager (Cloud Data Migration) Locations: Linthicum Heights, MD Duration: Contract Job Description: Manages major projects that involve providing professional support services and/or the integration, implementation, and transition of large, complex systems. Provides design and development of e-government solutions and is responsible for technical design and implementation of the architecture. Designs, develops, and maintains infrastructure and backend applications. Research new technologies and products for their applicability to business processes. Must compare various solutions and determine the most suitable. Must also prepare feasibility studies and cost benefit analyses that ranks the various solutions and supports the selected solution. Education Qualification: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related technical discipline is required. A Master's Degree is preferred. Required Experience: At least 15+ years of IT experience including cloud based multi-user environment with expertise in planning, designing, building, and implementing IT application modernization / implementation effort. Must have a strong background in software engineering principles and techniques. Must have experience in BI and Data Warehouse. Should have experience in BI solutions for data warehouse and/or Big Data environment Must be experienced in managing current and future data architectural requirements. At least three years of experience in Cloud Data Migration project.
