Gather, organize and understand technical details of products under development, and produce high quality documentation targeting internal engineering customers. Continue to follow product development and update documentation accordingly. Skills Working knowledge of Linux, Windows and MacOS. Knowledge of common engineering documentation tools, such as wiki, mark down notations, version control, etc. Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time. Strong knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Strong knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods. Education/Experience Bachelor's degree required. Experiences working with embedded devices under development. Professional experience in technical writing. Additional Notes 1- General overview of what the day to day work they will accomplish a. Work in NYC Farley lab minimum 3 days per week. For the remaining days candidate can work from home. b. Gather, and organize existing documentation on device setup, configuration. Follow them on real devices to ensure correctness. c. Produce high quality, clear and consistent documentation targeting internal engineering users. 2- Top 2-3 must have skills required to do this role a. Quick to learn b. Organized c. Communicate proactively, to gather information 3- Any tools or soft skills you require: a. Linux, b.
