| Documentation Lead Secaucus, NJ Remote Job Title Location Max rate STATUS Job Description Documentation Lead Secaucus, NJ Remote $55/hr Profiles Needed JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, write, and maintain technical product documentation, along with supporting materials relating to software packages. Work with Product Release Manager and Project Manager to coordinate scheduling and staffing issues. Create and maintain documentation plans for use in communicating with the overall product team, in regards to which documents will be delivered for the release. Create and maintain project plans to ensure that all documents are delivered by the established completion dates. Act as a representative at project meetings and point of contact for technical communications product level issues. Participate in all feature reviews and determine impact to the product documentation. Act as a resource manager and assign writers to feature teams as appropriate. Attend meetings regarding new feature development and provide input into the user interface design. Develop, write, and maintain technical product documentation standards. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for the product. Provides mentoring for new technical communication hires. Maintain awareness and basic understanding of applicable industry and business standards and regulations. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education Preferred: Bachelors degree or greater in applicable field, or equivalent experience. Work Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in related field. 3+ years health care industry experience in a team environment. 5+ years hands-on experience developing formalized business and software documentation through traditional and Agile development lifecycles. 3+ years demonstrating excellent skills with MadCap Flare or similar content authoring tool.
