Requirement Position Description This position will work with the Wisconsin Medicaid data management team, Division of Medicaid Services (DMS) leaders, and SAS Institute to ensure the use of SAS Institute business intelligence applications (EDW/DAR) enhances decision making capabilities through the use of data analytics, dashboards, visualizations, and reports. The Business Intelligence Architect will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for outcomes based metrics DMS is required to submit to federal partners for enhanced federal funding. This position will work with DMS staff, SAS Institute and stakeholders to take corrective action such as additional or modified training, use case development, and establishing a community of practice for EDW/DAR users. General skills and experience: o Excellent interpersonal communication skills o Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify data related challenges and provide appropriate solutions o Excellent organization and time management skills o In-depth knowledge of SAS software, data integration, reporting and analytics. o Strong presentation and training skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical audiences. o Experience working with data or analytics projects. o Experience working with customers supporting data in their practice Data Warehouse skills and experience: Advanced skills related to data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
