If they only work for large companies then chances are they are too specialized in one area of Infrastructure. This position will assist in designing, architecture, installation and maintenance of the infrastructure and environments including but not limited to the following: web, ftp and MS-SQL servers, Exchange and cloud based service. This position assists with designing, implementation, monitoring and performing optimization of all infrastructure components consisting of on-premise, cloud and virtual servers, data networks that comprise the corporate LAN/WAN/SAN/VOICE and Internet configurations. Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree plus at least two years of related experience; or at least four years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology or related technical discipline is highly desired. Microsoft, VMware or Cisco certifications is a plus. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Advance knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, IIS, Clustering, and Exchange. Advance Knowledge of VMware virtualization platform. Advance understanding of storage technologies including SAN, iSCSI, LUNs. Extensive experience with cloud technologies; Compute, storage, load balancer, traffic gateways and security. Solid understanding of SSL certificate managements and encryption. Experience with traffic management such as load balancers and web filtering appliances. Solid understanding of SSL certificate managements and encryption. Experience with using utilities for Backup, System Patching and monitoring tools. Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Routing, and Server Security). Strong technical and computer skills. Ability to coordinate day to day activities for assigned projects. Ability to respectfully communicate with team and project stakeholders and to effectively collaborate within and across teams. Must be an innovate thinker. Strong customer focus with sense of urgency. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Must be a fast learner with a genuine interest in learning new technologies and skills. Travel is required at 5% of the time.
