In addition to performing software development, the Developer will be supporting development efforts and performing software development functions in a small project setting. Provide and support ongoing documentation efforts to comply with defined informatics standards, methodologies, and processes. Including 508 compliance, SDLC, EPLC, Security, and Operational standards Experience participating on Agile Teams and cadences Microsoft stack development; .Net Core, C#.Net, and ASP.Net . UX / UI experience, React.js, preferred. Experiencing scripting CI/CD pipeline for code deployment Modify/support legacy code as well as create new applications. Write SQL code for INSERTS, UPDATEs, and DELETEs, structural modifications, Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions and general ad-hoc queries. Understanding of Cloud based databases (AWS, Azure, COSMOS, PostgreSQL, Mongo DB). Understand the SQL Server security model for Active Directory and SQL Server Authentication. Regularly communicates and coordinates with IT and Data Management staff via teleconference and/or in-person, i.e. weekly staff meeting. Develop and support ongoing documentation efforts Basic Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering or related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience or 9 years of experience to satisfy the education and years of requirement. 3 years of experience programming in C#.Net. ASP.net CORE, JavaScript 3 years of experience of UX / UI experience, React.js. 3 years of experience of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery. 3 years of experience of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. 3 years of experience with SQL. 3 years of experience working with system design, system analysis, and business analysis experience. Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects simultaneously with great efficiency and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: Knowledge of CDC culture, mission, and IT environment. Experience/Knowledge within the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases (NCEZID). Experience with token-based authentication protocols such as oAuth. Experience with software development tool sets such as DevExpress.
