Position : Principal Project Manager Location : Remote Duration : 6 Months Rate : $55/HR on C2C only Project Description: Leads and manages large technical projects Defining work strategies, aligning these with resources and desired client outcomes, and oversight of planning and execution of the work Ensuring technology solutions are managed to support business strategies, often working with senior management Directing the integration of technical aspects of all related projects/programs. Conducting analyses, needs assessments, and cost/benefit assessments and helping to broker other technology services Monitoring financials to ensure budget compliance Release management Responsibilities: Lead large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives Direct cross-functional and/or cross-segment teams Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences Defining and managing project schedules, resources and delivery commitments Managing Scrum standup meetings Setting up tasks using the CA Agile Central tool Performing data collection and analysis activities using MS Excel Conducting weekly project meetings to ensure deadlines are being met and the project is kept on target Collaborating with Infrastructure and Application teams to ensure successful outcomes Creating/Updating project status reports for program rollup and management review Mitigating and managing project risks and issues Skills, Must have: 10+ years of Project Management experience leading and managing large, complex projects in a matrixed organization 3 years of experience with mergers and acquisitions, supporting data center and application integration Proven MS Excel expertise (including data extraction, look-ups, sorts, joins, pivots and mapping skills) Working experience with Rally Agile tool (i.e., CA Agile Central) Managing Scrum standup meetings Setting up tasks using the CA Agile Central tool Nice to have: Experience leading virtual and distributed project teams Adaptability; self-starter; team player; quality minded; focused; committed; able to work independently Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and presentation Strong customer-service orientation Proven ability to hold people accountable Demonstrated ability to work in a complex environment with often conflicting priorities Thanks & Regards, Mahesh Technical Recruiter [email protected] -- Keywords: information technology golang microsoft California |
