Coaching/ servant leader Job Description: Job Summary: Leads the oversight of activities managed by a delivery pod / application team while adhering to agile practices and disciplines. Works closely with Product Owners to ensure that delivery pod / application team members are working on the highest priority work items defined within their respective roadmaps. Prepares deliverables and artifacts that highlight the progress accomplished by delivery pods / application teams (velocity, sprint and feature burn ups / burn downs, cumulative flow reports, etc.) and presents those artifacts as needed. Provides hands-on coaching to support the adoption of agile practices and identifying opportunity areas for continuous improvement. Education and Experience: A Master's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science). Requires 5 7 years of related experience min. Essential Functions: Leads Scrum team(s) in delivery of sprint goals and iterative delivery of software solutions that deliver business value. Partners with the product owner to support product backlog definition, refinement, and prioritization of work into sprints Coaches team members on Scrum practices and monitors compliance with Scrum practices Creates dashboards, gathers metrics, measures, and monitors team progress; disseminates relevant project information including action items to necessary stakeholders Leads daily stand-up meetings to track and remove roadblocks for the scrum team, and escalates issues in a timely manner Creates, revises, and executes timelines as appropriate to ensure projects are on track Sets concrete goals for a sprint, including deadlines for completion and metrics to determine success Ensures the work implemented by delivery pod and application teams adheres to the steps and procedures outlined within the definition of done (DoD) framework Leads the sprint review of product increment planning by the scrum team Collaborates with program management on process improvement initiatives; supports retrospectives Coaches team members on best practices and facilitates scrum ceremonies Develops and presents sprint level reports (ex: burnups, cumulative flows, velocity charts) to technology and business stakeholders Lead improvements to more efficiently get work to the Scrum teams Lead implementation of agile on an organizational level Facilitates continuous improvement and the development of a learning culture on teams Target Start Date: Is this a hard start date where a trainer is already assigned If yes, what is the Clear By Date needed 8/21/2023 NO Reason for opening request: New: Additional headcount or backfilling an FTE.
