Type: C2C/W2 Client: DXC Long Term Project Description - Leads and manages large technical projects - Defining work strategies, aligning these with resources and desired client outcomes, and oversight of planning and execution of the work - Ensuring technology solutions are managed to support business strategies, often working with senior management - Directing the integration of technical aspects of all related projects/programs. - Conducting analyses, needs assessments, and cost/benefit assessments and helping to broker other technology services - Monitoring financials to ensure budget compliance - Release management Responsibilities - Lead large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives - Direct cross-functional and/or cross-segment teams - Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business - Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences - Defining and managing project schedules, resources and delivery commitments - Managing Scrum standup meetings - Setting up tasks using the CA Agile Central tool - Performing data collection and analysis activities using MS Excel - Conducting weekly project meetings to ensure deadlines are being met and the project is kept on target - Collaborating with Infrastructure and Application teams to ensure successful outcomes - Creating/Updating project status reports for program rollup and management review - Mitigating and managing project risks and issues Skills Must have - 10+ years of Project Management experience leading and managing large, complex projects in a matrixed organization - 3 years of experience with mergers and acquisitions, supporting data center and application integration - Proven MS Excel expertise (including data extraction, look-ups, sorts, joins, pivots and mapping skills) - Working experience with Rally Agile tool (i.e., CA Agile Central) - Managing Scrum standup meetings - Setting up tasks using the CA Agile Central tool Nice to have - Experience leading virtual and distributed project teams - Adaptability; self-starter; team player; quality minded; focused; committed; able to work independently - Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and presentation - Strong customer-service orientation - Proven ability to hold people accountable - Demonstrated ability to work in a complex environment with often conflicting priorities Keywords: access management wtwo microsoft California |
