Job title: UI/UX Engineer Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid) Client: Amazon No h1B Job Description: Bachelors degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Equivalent work experience and a strong design portfolio will also be considered. Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process, user-centered design principles, and a variety of digital design projects. Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar software. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability principles, and information architecture. Experience conducting user research activities, such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing, and translating findings into design solutions. Experience in one or more relevant front-end frameworks(e.g. React, Angular, Node, jQuery) and MVC frameworks (e.g. Spring, Rails, Struts) Experience in HTML, CSS Knowledge of accessibility and usability principles, cross-browser compatibility, and HTML document architecture Experience in designing solutions and delivering features in agile environment Experience working in Linux environments Any experience working on both the backend and front end would be an added advantage. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing or support role in any of the following: technical escalation support, product support, developer support, IT DevOps, IT Admin/support, Systems Development, or Consulting or IT/Network Operations. 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following: o Microsoft Azure Platform o Cloud Computing o Microsoft Azure architecture and its components (Fabric, Compute, Storage, RDOS, Management Portal) o Microsoft Azure Data Explorer o Other cloud real-time log analytics solutions Familiarity with development: tools, language, process, methods, troubleshooting o Experience with Data Integration & Governance solutions and services o Experience in Relational, Non-relational databases, RDMS such as Microsoft SQL Server o Security and network-related knowledge. Development/Coding: o Experience with KQL, C#, JAVA, .NET, PowerShell, CLI, and REST concepts o Service engineering and/or DevOps experience at the internet scale involving user data and/or software development for an enterprise-level product.
