Position: Oracle HCM Developer, No H1B Location: Fully remote but on-site presence may be required for week one Duration: 6+ Month MOI: Phone and Video Job Title: Location: fully remote but on-site presence may be required for week one Team: Payroll Technologies (11-13 team members) *position sits fully remote but on-site presence may be required for week one, candidates MUST be okay to travel onsite for the first few days to get started* Background Check + Drug Test: Background check is required. On the project side, candidates will be exposed to the full gamut of timekeeping technologies, both technical and functional. Must-Have Skills: Follows the company's software development lifecycle (SDLC) to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs. Experience with Oracle HCM implementations (5 to 10 years of experience). Extensive knowledge of configuring Payroll elements and hands-on expertise in Oracle HCM Payroll module, including Payroll GL and Payroll Taxation. Experience with data conversion from PeopleSoft to Oracle HCM Cloud. Proficiency in Oracle Cloud methodologies and tools, such as Fast Formulas, HCM Extract, OTBI, BI Publisher, PL-SQL, and OIC. Solid understanding of configuring Payroll foundational components and elements. Knowledge of on-cycle and off-cycle payroll process flows, taxation, costing, and third-party file creation. Familiarity with loading data using HDL and HSDL loaders for Payroll-related items. Ability to conduct training sessions to enhance product knowledge and user understanding of the system for the Payroll Technology Team. Plus: Experience with Oracle FAW (Fusion Absence Management). Day-to-Day Responsibilities: The go-live date is July 2024, and candidates will assist with the transition into Oracle. Work on development and other tasks as they arise, ensuring that issues are resolved. Collaborate with a techno-functional team with expertise in both development and payroll processes. Holistically examine the entire payroll system, understanding how and why processes work. Work on multiple projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
