Must have BOTH PowerBI and Cognos. 3-5 year's experience Proficient in PowerBI and be able to create visualizations and reports Proficient in Cognos report development Ability to understand the data coming in and where from Ability to collaborate with business users to understand requirements and design reports Coordinate with data team members doing the ETL/ELT work to ensure appropriate data is available for report consumption Must be a self-starter SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Maintain the Companys Business Intelligence environments. 2. Develop, manage, and maintain all Cognos and PowerBI models, packages, reports, cubes, portal pages, dashboards, and frameworks. 3. Setup, maintain, monitor, and support Cognos and PowerBI security groups and accounts. 4. Monitor/manage scheduled jobs, scripts, and events. 5. Monitor and tune the performance of the platform. 6. Create reporting standards and processes. 7. Interact with internal customers, subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions using Cognos and PowerBI capabilities. 8. Work with subject matter experts to help develop requirements, specifications, prioritizations, and timelines. 9. Ensure all system setups, configurations and best practices are documented and followed. 10. Work with IT and business stakeholders to continuously enhance the enterprise Cognos and PowerBI platforms. 11. Coordinate with shared support personnel for server OS, database and enterprise data warehouse maintenance and troubleshooting. 12. Provide continuous improvements to the BI environment and procedures using latest technologies and methods. 13. Work with data integration team to analyze data, source systems and data models. 14. Provide support by gathering and analyzing data from different internal/external data source systems for consideration to add to the Clients data warehouse repository. 15. Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams. Engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously; keep work prioritized. 16. Act as the Subject Matter Expert reviewing requests, implementing and executing ETL processes based on requirements. 17. Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
