You will serve as the technical expert and provide support whenit comes to application setup, issues, and functionality.Must beable to coordinate with developers and application vendors on technical issues,upgrades, new functionality, and licensing. In addition, will be responsiblefor architecting and implementing scalable, well performing, cohesive andintegrated Informatica/ETL Application infrastructures. This role requiresresponsiveness, flexibility, and the ability to work collaboratively. Thisposition requires advanced knowledge of ETL/Informatica development processes. Providestrategic recommendations to IT Management and Data Team for Data integrationtools and Informatica roadmap including tool specific features and options,expected to explore all aspects. Partner withthe Data Services Manager and other team members to make decisions onInformatica Architecture, addition of other tools and technologies to solve onpremise and cloud data integration needs. Responsible for keeping up with toolspecific features, options and acquire deep understanding. Install,upgrade, configure and maintain Informatica components and other tools used byETL team. Recommend andimplement automation of different administration tasks to enhance efficiencies. Coordinate withInformatica and Vendor support for patches and bug fixes. Partner withinfrastructure teams to ensure an effective operating environment. Thisincludes throughput analysis, capacity planning, on-going optimization andtuning of Informatica objects and environment. Understandcomplex Informatica maps, workflow and session logs, and participate inconfiguration and tuning of respective objects to meet the performance andrecovery objectives. Performdisaster recovery functions. Proficient inworking with LDAP configuration and user management. Coordinate withdevelopment and infrastructure groups to prepare and implement plannedmaintenance outages. Communicateeffectively with management and provide timely communication on issues,business impact, mitigation and resolution plans, statuses, and escalationprocedures.
