The ideal candidate should be an expert in leading projects in test automation, Mobile Device Management, proactive issue identification and resolution and alerting mechanism using traditional, new and emerging technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with technologists to executives is key to be successful in this role. As a Senior Test Automation Engineer at UST Global, this is your opportunity to * Drive customer conversations to define the requirements and overall technical solutions for data and related applications * Exercise your strong decision-making skills in terms of data analysis and test automation, Fault prediction and resolution * Create technical solution, artifacts, work products and presentation of solution with the customer. * Work with Machine learning experts utilizing pattern recognition, text mining, clustering, and AI * Review functional and technical requirements, raising potential issues and participating actively in design discussions * Collaborating with Customers and Product Marketing / Management teams to identify opportunities that can be exploited through great software features. Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Senior Business Analysts, and other client stakeholders * Working as a member of a design, build and test agile team continuously releasing new features * Mentoring people whether they are on your team * Key Responsibilities * 10% Requirements and test planning * 70% testing and automation and 20% review work done by testers, analyze and help to solve problems You bring: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a software related discipline. A Master's degree in a related field is an added plus * 5+ years of experience in test automation, regression testing, Debugging using Appium or Selenium based tools/platforms * 3+ years of experience in strategic data planning, standards, procedures, and governance * 3+ years of experience in writing and tuning SQLs * Experience with Native Android development is a plus * Experience with C#/JavaScript/Perl or other scripting language is a plus * Understanding of Web communication methods (HTTP, HTTPS, Rest APIs, etc), API building, Github repos or other source code management experience * Understanding of hardware, CPU, memory usage, Networking basics (2.4 vs 5 GHz, Wireless 802.11 standards, IP addressing, UDP/TCP) * Understanding of how OS is developed, managed, and patched * Understanding the basics of Cloud based solutions/applications * Understanding of Data encryption and security standards for transmission and at rest of data * Experience with MDM (Mobile Device Management) software is a plus.
