This individual will be looked at to assess and make recommendations for selecting new tools or software and they will lead the development and documentation of standards for the use, control, updating and maintenance of a database. It is essential that the DBA have experience across backup and recovery, performance monitoring, tuning and storage management so that they can assist with developing data processes, optimize performance and troubleshoot and resolve any database issues.
