Role: SOA Developer Location: Albany, New York Duration: 3+ Months Client: NY State Client Job ID#: HBITS-02-11407 BF Description The New York Business Express (NYBE) is being developed as a one stop shop for businesses and individuals to enable efficient application and approval of licenses and related activities. Part of this project will look at customer relationship management software and integration with existing systems. Various components of the portal are being developed in conjunction with back office processing systems which include the Re-Platform of DOS CORPORATION Re-Engineering, SLA BackOffice Re-Engineering projects and Implementing the public facing NYBE portal for SLA Licensing, DOS, DOH, DTF,DOL, Gaming, WCB Licensing Systems. Duties Candidate is expected to continue work on COVID related Chamber projects such as NYC Pause NYS Business Data and Complaint Data exchange between NYS and NYC. Candidate is expected to work on legacy Documentum migration projects for the ongoing SLA PBITS and DOS AEB Documentum migration Candidate is expected to support ongoing daily development tasks which involve Java, J2EE, ORM (Hibernate), Spring, Java Callout, Service call out, Exception handling, Security and Java Frameworks / Packages such as JQuery Candidate is expected to support ongoing daily development tasks which involve of Web Services (SOAP and REST), XML, XSLT, XSD, XPATH and related frameworks in Java like JAX-WS to support NYBE project that utilize the Service Oriented Architecture technology Candidate is expected to develop Java application framework using WS Extensions specifications like WS-Security, WS-Coordination, WS-Policy, and lead/help the NYBE team to build a system that meets the SDLC requirements Candidate is expected to work with the Splunk team , leverage the COO standard monitoring tool Splunk application, monitor the NYBE applications on daily basis, to query the events and logs. Detect the system bugs with unexpected outages. Candidate is expected to work with Jenkins, help the NYBE team to build automated deployment scripts using POM.XML, and working with ITS COO Middleware team to streamline the deployment process. Candidate is expected to be able to configure and maintain applications in WebLogic application server. Candidate is expected to work with NYBE Architect to create contracts, onboard and monitoring services in service governance tool such as AKANA and provide KT to the NYBE state staff Candidate should provide daily knowledge Transfer to state staff which will include object-oriented analysis, design patterns/techniques with emphasis on Java/J2EE technology Candidate is expected to work closely with the NYBE SOA team to implement and processing License transactions for DOS, DTF, DOL, WCB, Gaming, DOH agencies and continue to implement and process licenses for future releases. Candidate is expected to develop modern web applications using Node.js, React.js, Vue.js, Angular, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap.js Front End technology along with Microsoft .NET Framework using C#, ASP.NET and Java J2EE Back End technology Mandatory Requirements Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms - beyond that of a Programmer. Experience (8+ Years) Requirements 72 months implementation and experience with J2EE, ORM (Hibernate), Spring, Java Callout and Java Frameworks / Packages such as JQuery. 72 months work extensively on BPEL, OSB Proxy, File Adapter, developed XSD Schema and Business service, Service call out, Exception handling, Security. 72 months implementation and experience with Web Services (SOAP and REST), XML, XSLT, XSD, XPATH and related frameworks in Java like JAX-WS; 48 months service bus implementation experience providing integration end point with Oracle SOA and ITS Enterprise middleware on ORACLE SOA to all of the following: Oracle Service Cloud, AKANA, and other downstream NYS agencies. 60 months experience of business intelligence using Splunk monitoring tools to create and query events and logs and maintain the systems. 48 months experience with SLA EMC Documentum Image conversion to IBM EMC FileNet, NYS projects 60 months experience in configuring and maintaining application in WebLogic, develop Unit test cases 60 months experiences of creating contracts, onboard and monitoring services in service governance tool such as AKANA 48 months experiences of creating RESTFul services using ASP.NET Web API 48 Months experiences in working with VUE JS Forms, Validations, Modules, Components, directives, controllers and HTTP Request Ashok Reddy Akkala Sligo Software Solutions, Inc.
