Title: Primavera P6 Scheduler

Location: Cincinnati, OH Onsite Need to be in or close to OH

Need a senior-level Primavera P6 Scheduler to drive the scheduling build and be a leader working with the team and all the moving parts for end-clients pet foods manufacturing facility near Batavia, Ohio (Cincinnati area).  Let me know if any questions or need a clarification on any information.

Qualifications/Experience:

Minimum 5 years experience in managing projects through all phases of large manufacturing / plant facilities or factory construction

10 years Primavera P6 software scheduling experience as a 'hands-on' user

Experience managing high volume and high multi-million-dollar projects

Experience in Microsoft Project (is a requirement)

Experience in engineering and/or construction work process and activity sequence (is required)

Experience in using and understanding earned value progress (is preferred)

B.Sc. or B.A. degree (is preferred)

Highly articulate and have a clear and analytical approach to problem solving

Working with multiple deadlines and multiple priorities

Position Summary:

On-site effort involving multiple projects and/or large and/or complex projects that may require coordination and management of supporting scheduling staff.

Perform Earned Value Management (EVM), prepare Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and coordinate with project cost specialist to issue Cost Performance Index (CPI), Change Control and critical path schedule forecasts with resource loading.

Work closely with document controls and cost management (risk management, change control, forecasting, metrics and reporting included within).

The Project Scheduler is a key member of the project team and reports directly to the Project Manager or Construction Manager with a matrix reporting relationship to the Project Controls Group, managerial oversight, training, administrative support and multi-project management.

Develop and maintain the master Program schedule and constituent Project schedules related to contract scope or any other Company on-site program.

Tasks and deliverable functions include the mobilization, development, implementation, and support of all Program Management Control Systems (PMCS), procedures, training and project staffing.

Responsible and accountable for project control components such as time management, schedule reporting, master schedule maintenance, review and comment on 3rd Party schedules, Time Impact Analysis (TIA), cost and resource loading, and regularly perform schedule updates.

Manage the detailed Gantt Schedule in either MS Project or Primavera, maintain 6 week (1 back/5 forward) rolling look-ahead schedule, 90-day look-ahead schedule, critical path analysis, schedule variance reports baseline vs schedule updates, prepare histograms of cost, schedule, resource, and percent complete S curves (cumulative and per period).

Review engineer, architect and contractor prepared schedules.

Prepare post construction as-built schedules and lessons learned reports.
