Position : Project Manager Ecommerce Location : Schaumberg, IL onsite Duration : 3-6Months Contract to hire Visa : USC/GC Interview mode: Interview : Phone/skype, - Job Description Role The Ecommerce Project Manager is a part of the Ecommerce team and plays a lead role in the successful delivery of projects and strategic program initiatives. You will oversee cross-functional projects related to our stack of websites and mobile friendly apps. You will work closely with business stakeholders and product owners in translating end user needs into precise requirements for the development team. Responsibilities Develop effective plans for communicating project information to the project team and stakeholders, and regularly communicate project status and plans. Lead and create project plans, including formulation of project scope, definition of project deliverables and timelines, definition of project milestones and business value. Oversee project control and risk management by monitoring project execution, documenting project issues, managing timely resolutions, and creating risk mitigation plans. Manage project schedules & timelines and follow up on tasks to ensure the project is completed on time. Work with developers, analysts, and product owners to build work estimates and detailed project plans. You will create & maintain project plans, coordinate tasks/schedules for multiple team members, and follow up on action items to ensure timely completion. You will plan and execute the scrums and related work products. Facilitate kickoff & standing meetings for eCommerce project with appropriate audiences. Experience Minimum 5 years experience leading large eCommerce development and integration projects. Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or related experience. The Scrum Master collaborates intensively with their team members across both Business and Technology disciplines providing mentoring and coaching around Agile principles and practices. In addition, he/she acts as a servant leader and aids with the resolution of blocking challenges. Advanced interpersonal skills able to establish strong working relationships and promote bi-directional communication within and across teams. Able to organize, moderate and demonstrate value-add principles and practices to the teams. Able to effectively facilitate discussions and suggest alternative approaches. Be transparent and provide visibility to Business and Technology. Develop and grow trust across the project team(s), Business and Technology. Proficient in planning, organizing, and facilitating Scrum and events. Identifies, tracks, and resolves delivery impediments to optimize delivery flow. Develops and analyzes various reports and artifacts to ensure planned work is delivered within the sprint/release by the delivery team. Monitors, measures, and reports on project progress to management/leadership. Monitors and assesses team health and continuous improvement. Hold themselves well as team members accountability/ownership for all deliverables. Manages and tracks risks, issues and proactively look for mitigation options. Focus on details and follow-through during lifecycle of project.
