Job Title: QA Manual Tester - Helath Insurance/Insurance Doamin Locations: AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, KS, KY, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OK, SD, TN, TX, VA, WI (ONLY From these specified Locations) Visa: USC, GC ONLY Job Description: Position Overview: As a Manual QA Engineer working on our commission platform, you will be responsible for meticulously testing and validating the functionality and performance of our software. You will play a crucial role in delivering a high-quality product to our clients and ensuring the accuracy of commission calculations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify the functionality and performance of our commission platform. Collaborate closely with the development team to understand system requirements and design effective test cases. Identify, document, and track defects and issues, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution. Conduct regression testing to verify that issues have been resolved and that new updates do not introduce new problems. Validate commission calculations and ensure they align with business requirements and compensation plans. Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test data, and test reports. Perform ad-hoc testing as needed and investigate customer-reported issues to reproduce and diagnose problems. Assist in the continuous improvement of the QA process, including suggesting process enhancements and automation opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on testing complex software applications. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices. Familiarity with commission management or financial software is a plus. Proficiency in test case management and defect tracking tools. Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of test automation tools and scripting languages is advantageous.
