Motivation and drive PROJECT Consolidate the Newmont and Newcrest SAP environments into a single instance of S/4 HANA 2022. This includes consolidation of Finance, HR, Payroll, Concur, SCM and Asset Management and their related master data. Newmont has MDG enabled for the domains mentioned above whereas Newcrest does not have MDG enabled. DEPARTMENT: Newmont- Newcrest System Acquisition EC consolidation JOB DETAILS SAP MDG Architect Job Duties: Perform scoping and analysis of MDG activities related to the SAP roadmap to integrate the SAP environment of Newmonts upcoming acquisition (Newcrest Mining) Understand the current MDG configuration of Newmont, leverage knowledge of configuration and activation processes within MDG, data domains, custom objects and related data models, data quality and SAP MDG loading and distribution for defining best practice approach to consolidating master data from the Newcrest SAP system Determine the size and scope of an effective SAP MDG consolidation, taking into account current Newcrest SAP environment and the existing and planned Newmont SAP environment Ability to explain, rationalize and justify master data governance requirements and best practices to client stakeholders, interacting with Newmont and Newcrest business as well as IT teams for requirements gathering, risk assessment and finalization of technical specifications Mandatory Skills: Seven or more years of MDG implementation projects: initial, rollout and upgrades. Deep knowledge of MDG Central governance and consolidation application Experience implementing EAM and AIW (MOCR) functionality Hands on SAP MDG implementation experience of SAP MDG-S/SAP MDG-C, SAP MDG-F, SAP MDG-M and SAP MDG-Assets for S/4HANA. In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA master data like Materials, BP, Vendor, Customer, Finance, EAM Implementation knowledge of business context viewer, data quality, SDQ, dashboard integration in SAP MDG UIs, UI Modeling and enhancement of MDG Standard applications Technical skills in OO ABAP, FPM, Workflow, Fiori, BRF+, MDG API, IDoc, WebService, oData, UML Modeling and Quality standards Building business object with different programming techniques like GENIL, SPI, BOR and BOPF Different process like single processing, Multi-record, Mass change, Consolidation and Mass processing and DIF Desired Skills: Organizational and problem-solving skills: The candidate should have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines and handle potential issues that may arise.
