Duration : It is a 6-month contract, possible extension Interview : Telephonic and Web Ex Update from Manager, we are looking for someone who has experience with architecting a datacenter migration from on prem (AS400) to the cloud (Azure). They are currently migrating to a local data center with disaster recovery data and mission critical applications. After this project, this person will be architecting multiple, large scale (2-3 year) Azure projects. We do not need a Solution or Application architect. Produce and maintain System lifecycle management process and work with other leaders to maintain and ensure that versions are current and supported and all times. 30% - Leveraging Best Practices (E.g. TOGAF/ COBIT) frameworks for the Companys Enterprise IT Organization (Apps/ Data/ Network/ Infra etc.) but more focused on the infrastructure, security, network and multi-cloud architecture. Understand the current state and define future state reference architecture for Follett. 25% - Support the Companys Enterprise IT Architecture 3 Year Roadmap from design to implementation and management. Actively evangelize implementation of the roadmap and communicate to the leadership effectively when issues and risks are identified. 25% - Document and manage (Updates to) Enterprise Architecture on-going basis with market needs/ competitors and technology trends to support future the Companys Business Roadmap. Assist in vendor and tool evaluation, RFP/RFI, score carding and selection and implementation.
