Required Skills 10+ years of Oracle DBA experience working with application development teams with current experience in a multitenant environment running Oracle 19c. Expert level of knowledge and experience in data modeling and processing architectures, data dictionaries, and database schema(s), including design, develop, amend, optimize, and certify database schema design to meet system(s) requirements. Expert level experience in creating and modifying Shell scripts and packages, for performance monitoring and tuning. Experience with enterprise class applications with mission critical functionality which contain sensitive and or regulatory information such as IRS Pub 1075 and PII is highly recommended. A working knowledge of data management tools including Erwin Model Mart, Business Objects, Informatica, and TOAD. Having experience with applications used by the state of Wisconsin, such as eWiSACWIS, KIDS, and CARES is beneficial. Role Focus on database design and Oracle/SQL database administration for DCF development and COTS software. Lead Oracle/SQL upgrade projects and initiatives. Expertise in Oracle Database management and OLTP/OLAP database design on Oracle Exadata. Support for SQL databases with knowledge of SQL functions/tools. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and policy-compliant solutions. Key experience requirements: Team collaboration and high-priority operational work management. Expertise in Oracle 19c multitenant environments on Exadata. Proficiency with Oracle Management tools (OEM, SQL Developer, PLSQL scripting, Erwin). Data migration experience for Oracle and SQL platforms. Data modeling, schema design, and database object creation. Shell scripting, performance monitoring, and change management in SDLC. Strategic data manipulation and efficiency improvements. Proactive diagnosis and resolution of SQL/Oracle performance issues. Knowledge of SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS (a plus). Preferred qualifications: Familiarity with data management tools (Erwin Model Mart, Business Objects, Informatica, TOAD). 15+ years of DBA work experience (required). BS in computer science or related field (preferred). Rotating 24x7 on-call availability.
