Role:- UAT Lead (Technical Specialist III - TS3) Location:- Onsite "IOWA" Duration:- 6+ months - - Video Call Job Description: The UAT Lead will play a lead role in a team of QA (Quality Assurance) resources and report to a Program or Project Manager. The primary responsibility of the Technical Specialist is to lead and coordinate all UAT-related tasks, including planning, prioritization, and execution. The Technical Specialist will work closely with the Systems Integrator and may interact with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to resolve and mitigate issues. Project Description: The Iowa Department of Human Services is looking to replace a legacy application and interface existing mainframe systems with a new server-based eligibility system. The UAT Lead will be responsible for managing and coordinating all UAT-related activities in this project, working with the core project team, and collaborating with the Systems Integrator. Required Skills and Experience: The following skills and experience are required for this position: Demonstrated ability in high levels of interpersonal and communication skills: 10+ years. Demonstrated ability in self-motivation, self-direction, and the ability to work with little or no supervision: 10+ years. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio: 10+ years. Ability to accurately prepare written correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional, and engaging: 7 years. Experience supervising the entire interface team and all interface testing: 7 years. Experience managing a large testing initiative in a mainframe, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and web-based environment: 7 years. Experience in developing QA test plans, test scenarios, and test cases: 7 years. Experience testing complex interfaces: 7 years. Experience overseeing the execution of QA testing activities: 7 years. Experience in monitoring and reporting QA progress of testing execution, testing coverage, defect identification, and resolution: 7 years. Experience in establishing go/no-go criteria for each iteration and final production release: 7 years. Additional Information: The UAT Lead position is critical for ensuring the successful implementation of the project, as it involves overseeing the user acceptance testing phase and coordination with various teams and stakeholders.
