As an Infrastructure Engineer III, the purpose of this role will be to ensure sound delivery of technical services for Solix and its clients. The incumbent will be part of a team supporting on-premise and hosted environments that deliver services to Solix users and their clients. This position is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, administration, and management of the infrastructure LAN/WAN/SAN/VOICE and related components. This role will be responsible for activities such as performing upgrades, installations and troubleshooting, development and documentation of system standards, and recommendation and scheduling of repairs for networks as well as keeping the network secure from a variety of threats on a global level. Primary Responsibilities and Duties: Assist and take direction from the Director of Infrastructure in the management and administration of the companys LAN/WAN environment, including moves, adds, and changes Maintain documentation of processes, network configurations, and systems detailing locations and configurations for all assigned projects. Proactively monitor the Network environment and take ownership of networking-related incidents and projects Install, maintain, and monitor Cisco routers, switches, WAN, and wireless technology as well as IP routing protocols. Support point-to-point WAN technology and LAN and SAN topologies as required. Architect, design, and implement network security policies, procedures, VPN, and ASA firewall. Escalate to the manager when deadlines will be missed, or a project/task is not going to be completed. Required:- Bachelors degree plus at least four years related experience; or at least eight years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology or related technical discipline is highly desired. Certifications in Networking or Security a plus. Advanced experience in the design, installation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and environments Advanced experience in cloud services, Infrastructure as a Service (Iaas) Software as a Service (Saas) and Platform as a Service (Paas) Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experienced in Cisco router, switch and firewall configuration and troubleshooting using a variety of hardware platforms and IOS revisions Experienced in configuring and troubleshooting LAN/WAN technologies and routing protocols (TCP/IP, Etherchannel, 802.1Q, Spanning-Tree, BGP Routing, QoS and VoIP) Experience in configuring and troubleshooting IPSEC and SSL VPN Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco ASA and Barracuda Firewalls Intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS) Security Incident and Event Management systems (SIEM) Experience with 802.11 wireless, Access Points and controllers is required Ability to respectively communicate with team and project stakeholders and to build and foster a collaborative working environment among team members Demonstrated ability to design infrastructure to achieve high levels of availability Strong leadership and managerial skills and must have the desire and ability to guide and mentor technical staff Innovative thinker and strong problem solver Strong customer focus and sense of urgency Extensive experience with Cloud technologies Thanks & Regards, Shiva Chauhan IT Recruiter TEK Inspirations LLC : 13573 Tabasco Cat Trail, Frisco, TX 75035 Email: [email protected] Keywords: information technology New Jersey Texas |
