Role: IBM WebSphere Architect Location: Albany, New York Duration: 30 Months Client: NY State Description The UISIM project is a multi-year program effort to redesign, test and implement business process improvements for the Department of Labors customers, partners and internal staff. Business process improvements will be made by satisfying the following project goals and functional objectives: operational improvement, program integrity, systems integration. UISIM will replace the 40+ year old Unemployment Insurance (UI) legacy computer systems and manual procedures with a new and improved integrated computer system. Duties Architect, Design, Install, Support, Configure, & Problem Determination of the following Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) products: IBM WebSphere Application Server 5.x, 6.x ,7.x IBM WebSphere Process Server 6.x IBM WebSphere Business Process Manager 7.5 IBM WebSphere Service Registry and Repository 6.x IBM WebSphere Message Broker 7.x IBM HTTP Server 7 & 8 Architect, Plan, Design, Install, Configure, & Support IBM WVR WebSphere Voice products: WebSphere Voice Response Server for AIX 6.1 WebSphere Voice Server 5 Plan, Design, Install, Configure, & Support IBM Power and AIX servers: IBM AIX 5.x., AIX 6.x, AIX 7.x Operating Systems IBM Power5, Power6, and Power7 hardware utilizing PowerVM virtualization Install, Configure, & Support Monitoring products: Manage Engine Applications Manager Data Center Migration: Document IP ranges for servers and applications Assist with migration of AIX Servers Assist with migration of WebSphere Applications Assist with troubleshooting data center migration issues Performance Testing and Tuning and capacity planning of a highly available SOA infrastructure: AIX utilities: nmon, topas, netstat, vmstat, iostat, sar, etc. WebSphere Performance Tuning Toolkit Mandatory Requirements Experience (10+ Years) Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system.
