This contractor role needs to uncover client requirements using industry standard model-driven analysis techniques, make recommendations for process and business flows and develop consensus on requirements. As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will require technical knowledge and the ability to express technical concepts in terms that are understandable to business product owners. You will leverage creative relationship building skills when interacting with users, IT and AAMC business leaders and program management staff. Success in this Sr. Business Analyst contractor role requires an innovative mind, excellent communication skills, strong analytical experience, passion for creating high performing resilient solutions, and the ability to build strong relationships across large IT and business organizations. This role reports to the Platform Services Team (PST) Delivery Manager in IT and will work closely with PST, Enterprise Architecture, Data Services, Enterprise Data, Business Product Owners to capture, document, and maintain business logic and product knowledge. Job Description: Outline of Work Collaborate closely with product development teams to deliver quality solutions that meet customers expectations. Perform baseline business and technical impact analysis by analyzing metrics, organizational structure, resources, core work activities, existing documentation and supporting technology related to business processes. Partner with Product Owner to develop clear and concise user stories, and actionable acceptance criteria and break them down to proper size for sprint grooming. Work with Product Owner to manage and prioritize Backlog for grooming Support the Technical Delivery Manager in release planning, clarifying requirements, and responding to questions. Analyze user stories to identify interdependencies and implementation sequence. Support Product owner performance of Agile ceremonies and User Acceptance testing Coordinate with the Product Owner and business stakeholders on an operational basis and ensure smooth flow of information on business processes and requirements to the product development team. Maintain and track requirements and specifications through a requirement traceability matrix, configuration modification and other change control processes through the software development life cycle. Educate team members and enable them to understand product requirements and functionalities. Identify and document areas of potential business risks and communicate these appropriately and promptly to management. Collaborate with business product owners, IT technical delivery managers, architects, developers, QA testers and vendors to develop user stories, test cases, and clarify requirements. Nurture and support an internal environment of teamwork, sharing, enthusiasm and mutual respect. Skills needed 5-7 years of general business analysis experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience 5+ years of experience in Epic, Feature, User Story creation and User Story Mapping, Business Process Mapping, Sequence and Activity diagramming is desired Proven experience working in an AGILE and SDLC environment Experience with JIRA and Confluence is a must have Expert knowledge in Agile Scrum practices, Software Development, and Application Life Cycle Management Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence with internal business partners Positive, enthusiastic attitude with great teamwork and interpersonal skills, reflecting the ability to interact with cross functional groups Ability to work under pressure and solve problems using an analytical approach; decisive, fast moving; quick and constructive conflict resolution; and a can-do mentality Experience with platform microservices as well as full-stack application development is desirable Knowledge and prior experience in the business operations, organization, and administration of medical schools and/or academic health centers is desirable Regards, Shaheen Rukhsar Sr. Resource Manager SUS InfoTech Inc.
