Role- AI/ML Ops Architect/Lead Location- Houston, TX (Onsite) Duration- Long term contract Job Description: The Machine Learning Operations (ML Ops) role is a critical position within our organization, responsible for bridging the gap between data science and IT operations. The primary focus of this role is to design, implement, and manage the infrastructure, tools, and processes necessary for deploying, monitoring, and maintaining machine learning models in production. The ML Ops Engineer/Manager/Specialist will collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and IT teams to ensure the seamless and efficient deployment of machine learning solutions. Infrastructure Setup: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure for hosting machine learning models in production environments. Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure proper integration of machine learning pipelines into existing CI/CD workflows. Deployment and Monitoring: Develop deployment pipelines and processes for deploying machine learning models into production environments. Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the health, performance, and availability of deployed models. Continuously optimize and fine-tune deployed models for performance and accuracy. Automation and Scalability: Automate repetitive tasks related to model deployment, data preprocessing, and monitoring. Scale infrastructure to handle varying levels of traffic and workloads. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices to ensure data privacy and model integrity. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Collaboration: Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to understand model requirements and integrate them into production pipelines. Work with IT teams to ensure alignment with overall IT strategies and architecture. Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve issues related to model deployment, performance, and stability. Provide technical support to address any operational issues that arise. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of deployment processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Strong experience in software engineering, DevOps, or IT operations. Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and workflows. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, and experience with relevant ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git). Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
