Experience with leading a team in automating various aspects of database Server infrastructure like provisioning, patching, change management, configuration management, monitoring and other dayto-day operations items. Experience working with Dev-Ops Establishes standardized processes and key operational metrics based on ITIL (or other equivalent Framework) to effectively manage the availability and performance of applications and services. Establishes Service Level Agreements and Operating Level Agreements in alignment with Company objectives and customer needs. Designs, implements, and manages systems/applications monitoring processes and tools to proactively identify and resolve problems within the Company computer environment. Manages the timely backup and recovery of applications and systems to enable the recovery of information should an adverse event occur. A key player in developing a company wide security framework and ensures protection of systems and data in accordance with the regulatory and company policies Maintains enterprise systems and servers in support of business processing requirements. Performs upgrades to operating systems and software packages. Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established policies and procedures. Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels. Ensures server and software data integrity and security by evaluating implementing and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions. Facilitates vendors service and system upgrades with project management teams and users to ensure systems availability. Helps coordinate activities and technology projects between business partners and the IT Infrastructure team. Identifies issues and recommends solutions. Interfaces with vendors, service providers, business partners, project management team and users. Performs other related duties as assigned. Skills youll need for success: Bachelors Degree in technical, engineering, computer science or business management field preferred or equivalent experience 5+ years management experience preferred. Microsoft Windows Server technologies experience required. Experience with Cloud technologies required (e.g. AWS, Azure) VMware virtualization experience required Strong understanding of enterprise storage (e.g. EMC, NetApp) Understanding of Microsoft Exchange, Teams, O365 Experience with Citrix preferred Experience with Linux (RHEL, SLES) preferred Experience with Backup technologies and Disaster Recovery Current Microsoft and/or VMware certifications a plus Must have a sound understanding of business functions within, and outside of, Information Technology. Must have strong technical skills across multiple disciplines. |
